Excellent. Get this one, not the Slalom 8.
If you have the iSonic then I bet you are like me and looking at both this fin and the Slalom 8. Let me help you skip to the right choice. I bought both the Downwind and Slalom8 in 36cm. The DW 36 has a little trouble holding its own against a 7.7 race sail on iSonic 97...need to babysit the spinout... but it does work. The Slalom 8 develops a weird drag at speed and won't let you accelerate past about 26 knots without doing weird stuff...maybe it is fin flutter? I bought the Slalom 8 in 38cm and it's even worse. In any case, the Downwind is a superior, excellent fin. Also, despite the name, it does go upwind just fine. Finally, if you are running a 7.7 sail I would recommend the 38cm DW fin even thought the recommendation is the 36.

Drake Slalom DW R2R Windsurf Fin
I have purchased a heap of these fins for my Isonics. They are an amazing all round fin and excellent value for money (and carbon) Fast off the wind, great pointing ability and power you out of the jibes. Also they are really good if you want to do GPS stuff with. I live in Australia and had no problems getting the fins. I highly recommend 24-7 Boardsports for their high standard of customer service.
