Introducing the widebody concept to kitesurfing with the sector 60, and the reponse from customers has been truely outstanding. The Sector 60 V2 continues that legacy and introduces a new level of upwind performance comfort and ease of use. The improvements in performance are the results of refinements in rocker, outline and fin configuration.
Length 173cm
Width 60cm
Fins size 24/22cm

From Kiteboarder forum in a discussion about light wind kite boards - shortly after trying the demo Sector at 24-7:
"Seriously, the sector is super easy to fly upwind in sub 12knots on an average 12m size kite. I wish more manufacturers would take note & make something like this (at this sort of price point) for lighter days. Sunday I kited from Calshot to Lepe (3 miles) upwind & against the tide in about 12 knots with my 12m & it was easy... got there easily twice as quick as I could on a tt even if the tide was with me.
Not just for the light wind days either. On wednesday we had a good 25knots in the solent, so I grabbed the sector V1 60 & my 8m rally for a blast! I can say it still works no problem, its not overfinned at all. It is a bit flighty off the chop (big chop taken at speed) but it re-engages smoothly. Getting active with your legs, mogul skier stylee, helps to keep the fins engaged & everything driving in the right direction. The speed is considerably higher than a tt & I was overtaking windsurfers on the reach, but losing ground on them through the turns. Gybing round in bigger swell was interesting & I confess I stepped off a couple of times but that's my lack of skill in the conditions, rather than the board - I made most of my turns on Sunday in the lighter conditions. A full tilt planing carve gybe is still something I need practice at. Rob says its as close to windsurfing as he's got with a kite. The most noticeable (& fun) thing in more wind is just how fast you can go downwind! Having hacked upwind at a sharp angle you have to come back eventually... lift the kite & bare away, dive the kite & the acceleration is just nuts. Keep on working the kite & the speed builds till you chicken out & back off with a massive adrenalin rush & burning muscles".
Now after a couple of months with the board I'm still stoked on it. Its changed how I look at kiting. We've been kiting with foils in super light 6 knot conditions. We're racing. We're learning to tack & going faster & further than ever!
I'm getting mine when they come in: 27/9/11.
